My name is Jules. I’m a wife, mom to 4, mom-in-law to 4, Mimi to 10 and a full-time therapist. Family is the most important thing to me. Chocolate is a close second. I love traveling, reading, camping, kayaking and being outdoors. I do one new thing every year. I want to remind myself what it’s like to be a beginner at something, with all the anxiety, ineptness, fumbling (and embarrassment) that can come with it. These have included guitar lessons, climbing a mountain, belly dancing, playing the ukulele, learning to rock climb and other crazy ideas.
I firmly believe that gratitude and balance are the keys to a happy life. We can usually feel when we are out of balance in some area. Sometimes we need a little help figuring it all out. I’m lucky enough to get paid for a job that I love. Often, we just don’t have the right tools for our life circumstances. I help clients discover what tools they need, and how to use them to manage stress, grief, depression, trauma, anxiety, relationships and other struggles. My job is not to push or pull my clients, but to walk beside them through their journey. My hope is that you find this blog encouraging, educational, inspirational and uplifting.
